Breathwork

Breathwork, particularly conscious connected breathing and two-stage pranayama, has become a quiet anchor in the unfolding of my life.

I stepped into these practices at a time when I was standing at the crossroads of everything I thought I knew about myself, as a dream I had cherished for thirty years came to a conscious end.

The breath became my steady companion. As my external world completely changed, it was my daily breathing ritual that kept me hopeful, built my immunity, and carried me to the outer edges of consciousness where I could build new dreams and find freedom I hadn’t felt since I was a little girl.

Beyond navigating that dark night of the soul, the breath touched places I had long protectively hidden away but gave power to from an early traumatic event in my life. The breathwork let me meet those places of resistance with respect, ultimately transmuting that blocked energy in my pelvis to my heart as love.

My eyes grew clearer, my heart wilder, and those dreams crystalized.

Now, I’ve built a scaffold of resolve within me, allowing me to stand in my own truth, stronger, more sovereign, and more deeply connected to the woman I was always meant to become.

I still wobble, but the path back to center is so much shorter now.

Private breathwork sessions

In my private 1:1 breathwork sessions, my space is bathed in natural light, surrounded by trees, and curated to hold you safely.

Initially, an intention is cultivated based on what feels stuck in your life—usually an unwinding from early life conditioning carried into adulthood. This is often the time you may have heard something unkind or untrue that got blocked and was subconsciously brought into adulthood, keeping you in loops of knowing something about yourself but doing the same thing anyway. Breathwork interrupts that loop by allowing you to feel what was previously unfelt, moving old energy from the pelvis into the heart for balance, harmony, and healing.

From there, you lie down on your back for two-stage pranayama through the mouth. This is an active breath pattern, breathing first into the belly and immediately into your chest, followed by a full-release exhale, repeating for about 20 to 30 minutes. The active breath pattern is generated by masculine energy to focus the mind, release its control, and move into the heart. You always have the option to breathe deep or shallow, but the key is to honor your body as long as you keep breathing. This phase is necessary to let go of the mind’s control, move blocked energy and emotions, release long-held stress, invite the body to secrete healthy hormones, and flow throughout your system.

We then transition into a period of deep feminine energy rest and recharge, similar to savasana, for about 10 to 15 minutes. This is a vital part of the session, where the active work settles into new neural pathways, the nervous system recalibrates, and deep healing takes place in the heart.

Throughout our time together, you will will receive skilled, intuitive support and a tailored soundtrack. Depending on your journey, I may integrate somatic techniques, essential oils, sage, ocean stones, or ancient instruments like the rattle, rainstick, Himalayan singing bowls, or drums.

Ultimately, this work is less about breathing and more about how breath is the tool allowing us to give way to the ultimate master healer, Spirit.

It is a sacred invitation to generate self-love, your most potent medicine for living your highest, most fun-filled, successful life.

Sessions are offered both in-person and virtually. You are welcome to view current availability and book your session here. If you have any questions before scheduling, please feel free to contact me.

Group breathwork journeys

In our group breathwork gatherings, we enter a safe space to turn inward, meet yourself, and connect in community. We are living in a time where so many of us are craving heart centered gatherings, places where we can loosen our grip on our facades, be vulnerable and lovely together, and learn from one another.

Initially, a group intention is cultivated based on what feels stuck, usually an unwinding from early life conditioning carried into adulthood, the time you may have heard something unkind or untrue that got blocked and was subconsciously brought into adulthood, keeping you in loops of knowing something about yourself but doing the same thing anyway. Breathwork interrupts that loop by allowing you to feel what was previously unfelt, moving old energy from the pelvis into the heart for balance, harmony, and healing.

From there, lying on your back, we begin two-stage pranayama through the mouth. This is an active breath pattern, breathing first into the belly and immediately into your chest, followed by a full-release exhale, repeating for about 20 to 30 minutes. The active breath pattern is generated by masculine energy to focus the mind, release its control, and move into the heart. In our group sessions, you will receive skilled, intuitive support and a tailored soundtrack. Depending on the journey, I may integrate light somatic techniques, essential oils, sage, ocean stones, or ancient instruments like singing bowls, rattles, rainsticks, and drums.

The shared dynamic of the group amplifies this field, where clearing stuck energy within ourselves reverberates out as healing for our entire lineage. Our individual potential is wonderfully magnetized in this shared energy, creating a collective vessel for profound transformation. Through optional journaling and shared reflection, you will have space to share your insights and integrate what emerged.

Ultimately, this work is less about breathing and more about how breath is the tool allowing us to give way to the ultimate master healer, Spirit.

It is a sacred invitation to generate self-love, your most potent medicine for living your highest, most fun-filled, successful life that heals our collective.

What exactly is Breathwork?

Breathwork is a powerful, intentional practice that bridges ancient wisdom and modern nervous system science. So much of the blockage and resistance we carry stems from early life conditioning, particularly the quiet stories and beliefs absorbed when we were young. Over time, modern stress leads to shallow chest breathing, depleting our vitality and creating dis-ease in the body, emotions, and mind.

Breathwork serves as a gentle yet potent tool to unwind these patterns. It is how we shift from seeking validation externally to anchoring in deep self-love, balance, and harmony. When we clear held energy within ourselves, that healing reverberates back through our entire lineage.

Because your safety and physical foundation come first, my approach is grounded in extensive functional breath training and trauma-informed skill. I ensure your diaphragm is properly engaged and your system is regulated before moving into up-regulatory practices. I am extensively trained and deeply practiced in both Two-Stage Diaphragmatic Breathwork and Conscious Connected Breathwork. Once your body is ready, these transformative patterns allow us to clear stuck energy, restore vitality, and open the heart.

Ultimately, this work is less about mechanics and breathing itself, and more about how breath is the tool that allows us to give way to the ultimate master healer, Spirit.

It is about enlivening your life in all areas through that simple, powerful, and generative force: love.
