Breathwork

Breathwork, particularly conscious connected breathing and two-stage pranayama, has become a quiet anchor in the unfolding of my life.

I stepped into these practices at a time when I was standing at the crossroads of everything I thought I knew about myself, as a dream I had cherished for thirty years came to a conscious end.

The breath became my steady companion. As my external world completely changed, it was my daily breathing ritual that kept me grounded, built my immunity, and carried me to the outer edges of consciousness where I could build new dreams and find freedom I hadn’t felt since I was a little girl.

Beyond navigating that dark night of the soul, the breath touched places I had long protectively hidden away but gave power to from an early traumatic event in my life. The breathwork let me meet those places of resistance with respect, ultimately transmuting that blocked energy in my pelvis to my heart as love.

My eyes grew clearer, my heart wilder, and those dreams crystalized.

Now, I’ve built a scaffold of resolve within me, allowing me to stand in my own truth, stronger, more sovereign, and more deeply connected to the woman I was always meant to become.

I still wobble, but the path back to center is so much shorter now.

Private breathwork sessions

In my private breathwork sessions, we work one on one in a deeply held space tailored entirely to where you are.

We begin with intention setting, self inquiry, and gentle conversation to help potentially unwind early life conditioning, beliefs from childhood, and/or accumulative pressures of  living in our current landscape, so you can shift away from seeking external validation and anchor into deep self love, balance, and harmony.

From there, you lie down on your back and begin with an activating, strong breath pattern. You can think of breathwork as an active meditation; this active breathing is so important because it gives the mind a focus, helping you let go of controlling thoughts and quiet the thinking mind so you can move fully into the heart. You always have the option to breathe deep or shallow, as long as you keep breathing and honor your body. This phase is necessary to move blocked energy, release long held stress and emotion, and invite the body to secrete healthy hormones.

As you breathe, I offer steady guidance and intuitive support, supported by a curated playlist aligned to your energetic cycle. I also incorporate essential oils, somatic techniques, and gentle touch to support the sacred flow of energy throughout your body.

We then transition into a period of deep rest and recharge, similar to savasana in yoga. This pause is the most vital part of the session, where the active work settles, the nervous system recalibrates, and deep healing and integration takes place in the heart.

Ultimately, this work is less about mechanics and breathing itself, and more about how breath is the tool that allows us to give way to the ultimate master healer, Spirit. It is a sacred invitation to rest in deep soul connection and open to the pure possibilities that flow when you come back into full alignment with who you really are, that unique, wildly, beautifully amazing expression of life.

Sessions are offered both in-person and virtually. You are welcome to view current availability and book your session here. If you have any questions before scheduling, please feel free to contact me.

Group breathwork journeys

In our group breathwork gatherings, we enter a safe space to turn inward, meet yourself, and connect in community. We are living in a time where so many of us are craving heart centered gatherings, places where we can loosen our grip on our facades, be vulnerable and lovely together, and learn from one another.

We begin with group intention setting, self inquiry, and a gentle warm up to prepare the body, engage the diaphragm, and settle the nervous system, laying a grounded physical foundation to help us potentially unwind early life conditioning, beliefs from childhood, and/or the accumulated pressures of living in today’s current landscape.

From there, lying on our backs, I lead you into an activating, strong breath pattern through Two Stage Pranayama. Breathwork acts as an active meditation; this active breathing is so important because it gives the mind a focus, helping you let go of controlling thoughts and quiet the thinking mind so you can move fully into the heart. You always have the option to breathe deep or shallow, as long as you keep breathing and honor your body.

This intentional practice is necessary to move blocked energy, release long held stress and emotion, and prompt the body to secrete healthy hormones so we can shift away from seeking external validation and anchor into deep self love, balance, and harmony. Throughout this active phase, you are supported by a carefully curated soundscape, intuitive guidance, and somatic bodywork.

We then transition into a period of deep rest and recharge, similar to savasana in yoga. This pause is the most vital part of the practice, where the active work settles, the nervous system recalibrates, and deep healing and integration takes place in the heart.

The shared dynamic of the group amplifies this field, where clearing stuck energy within ourselves reverberates out as healing for our entire lineage. Our individual potential is wonderfully magnetized in this shared energy, creating a collective vessel for profound transformation. Through optional journaling and shared reflection, you will have space to ground your insights and integrate what emerged.

Ultimately, this work is less about mechanics and breathing itself, and more about how breath is the tool that allows us to give way to the ultimate master healer, Spirit. It is a sacred invitation to rest in deep soul connection and open to the pure possibilities that flow when you come back into full alignment with who you really are, that unique, wildly, beautifully amazing expression of life that heals our collective.

What exactly is Breathwork?

Breathwork is a powerful, intentional practice that bridges ancient wisdom and modern nervous system science. So much of the blockage and resistance we carry stems from early life conditioning, particularly the quiet stories and beliefs absorbed when we were young. Over time, modern stress leads to shallow chest breathing, depleting our vitality and creating dis-ease in the body, emotions, and mind.

Breathwork serves as a gentle yet potent tool to unwind these patterns. It is how we shift from seeking validation externally to anchoring in deep self-love, balance, and harmony. When we clear held energy within ourselves, that healing reverberates back through our entire lineage.

Because your safety and physical foundation come first, my approach is grounded in extensive functional breath training and trauma informed care. I ensure your diaphragm is properly engaged and your system is regulated before moving into up-regulatory practices. I am extensively trained and deeply practiced in both Two-Stage Diaphragmatic Breathwork and Conscious Connected Breathwork. Once your body is ready, these transformative patterns allow us to clear stuck energy, restore vitality, and open the heart.

Ultimately, this work is less about mechanics and breathing itself, and more about how breath is the tool that allows us to give way to the ultimate master healer, Spirit. It is about deep healing, soul connection, and the pure possibilities that flow when you come back into full alignment with who you are, that unique, wildly beautiful, amazing expression of life.
